Dressing Guide

A lot of people in the lands dress from 'head to toe.' A lot of people don't. I prefer it. I didn't do it when I was younger, but I do my best to do it now. It makes it much easier to look at people, and see what they're wearing. This may help some people with this.

If you don't keep your shield in a container, I would wear it before my cloak or cape.
I probably don't exactly follow that format, so now I'll explain my current outfit.
She is wearing a pale green iceblossom, a bell-trimmed silver mail choker, a dagger-shaped Leya pin, a thick brushed faenor armband, an elegant silver-linked armband, some colorful crystal bracelets, a faenor engagement ring, a silky wolfskin back sheath, a woven argent mithril belt, a forest green sylvan-styled tunic, a front-laced green suede bodice, some forest green sylvan leathers, some calf-laced brown leather sandals and a green star tattoo.
The flower is first, because it's worn in my hair.
Choker, down to the neck.
My pin is down on my chest somewhere, on my clothes, so that's next. Armbands are on the upper arm near the shoulder.
Bracelets are on the wrist (going down the arm, here).
Ring, down to the hands now.
My back sheath is slung across my shoulder.
My belt - down to the waist now, my belt is worn over my clothes.
Tunic.
Bodice, worn under the tunic.
Leathers.
Sandals - worn on feet, all the way down to the bottom now.
When trying to figure out an outfit, a good way to do it is to copy and paste it all into Word or Notepad, and put it all in an order like this:
a pale green iceblossom
a bell-trimmed silver mail choker
a dagger-shaped Leya pin
a thick brushed faenor armband
an elegant silver-linked armband
some colorful crystal bracelets
a faenor engagement ring
a silky wolfskin back sheath
a woven argent mithril belt
a forest green sylvan-styled tunic
a front-laced green suede bodice
some forest green sylvan leathers
some calf-laced brown leather sandals
This makes it easier to figure out where things should go.
Also, when putting clothes on in a head to toe order, start out with your boots or what have you. Then work your way up. Or, you could start with things worn on your head, but then things will be backwards. But then you could just go to the nearest store and ORDER so your gear flips.
The order of your gear doesn't get messed up, it's just backwards. Whenever you order something or get into the lands, your gear flips.
That's why, just before I leave, I go into the general store and order, then quit. So the next day when I enter the lands, my gear is in the correct order.
Also..
When removing a container to sell furs or gems, as long as it stays in your hand, when you put it back on it will go back to its original spot. But if you put it in a container, drop it (never drop your stuff!), or hand it to somebody, it loses its spot.
I think that's about it! Never hesitate to ask me for help.
