SISTERS OF BLIGHT THWARTED

Dateline: Day 20 of Eonatos: Elanthia
What evil lurks deep in the blackest heart of the woods? That
question was answered when the Sisters of Blight crept out to
take revenge on the civilized races for incursions to
theirterritory. The devilish crones summoned up strange
creatures called "treants" to wreak havoc on Wehnimer's
Landing, Icemule, Kharam-Dzu, River's Rest, and the Elvish
cities, Ta'Illistim and Ta'Vaalor. Only Zul Logoth was spared
(perhaps because of the absence of plants larger than fungus
and lichen.)
The treants were soon busy scattering spores throughout the
towns. The spores infected the local plant and animal life,
creating monsters that invaded the towns and attacked anything
that moved (and many things that didn't).
These proceedings did not go unnoticed by Imaera, who called
upon her faithful to gather information about the crones and
the treants. Heeding her call, adventurers began to

investigate the strange occurances, and to fight the hordes of
blighted tumbleweeds, creepers, and other plants that
attempted to take over the towns. But tragedy struck when one
brave cleric of Jastev was kidnapped by the treants. His fate
is still unknown.
Finally, a pilgrimage was made to Imaera's shrine to seek more
help from the Mistress of Nature. She promised help, and none
too soon, for the treants had planted strange green growths in
each town that grew into vile blobs. These blobs emitted
waves of pure evil energy that terrified many, and caused
others to spontaneously bleed.
Not long after the pilgrimage, paladins of Imaera, Eonak,
Oleani, and Phoen, appeared to help the towns. Rumor has it
that a V'tullan Paladin also joined, for the greater glory of
his patron. Together these holy "fists" managed to purify the
treants, turning them back into gentle tree herders, and to
rout the Sisters of Blight. At this time, the priest of
Jastev remains missing. Any information regarding his
whereabouts should be forwarded to the Elanthian Journal.

FROST ACRES OPENS NEW STORES!

Dateline: Day 21st of Eoantos, 5104: none
The city officials of the Isle of Frost Acres have just
recently uncovered their latest expansions to the city's
landscape! In order to further attract citizens to their Isle
and improve resident's quality of life the Isle authorities
have now opened up a new Town Hall with lockers available to
visitors and a Citizenship Office which all those willing to
take up residency can now make it official! Other new grand
openings are the Isle's first neighborhood ripe with plots of
land to build your home on, plus a new market area for
qualified citizens to try their hand at merchanting with the
opening of their own shops!
The officials of Frost Acres continue to work hard and raise
budgets to allow further improvements to the Island hoping to
bring more tourists and perhaps permanent residents as time
goes on!

BLIND PROPHET LEADS ADVENTURERS ON MIND QUEST

Dateline: Day 18 of Eonatos:Eryael's Mind
Details are sketchy, but it said that the blind prophet
Ulstram made an appearance recently. He quietly gathered a
group of adventurers and led them on a metaphysical journey
into the mind of Eryael, avatar of Mularos.
One can only imagine the horrors they encountered within the
twisted brain of the rose-wielding priest. Could they hear
the screams of his victims, the tormented weeping that he so
treasured from his followers? What visions of pain and
mutilation greeted them on this dread quest? Those of us
fortunate enough to escape this quest may thankfully never
know.
Suffice it to say that the brave group managed to pass through
all obstacles to the very center of Eryael's being. Once
there, Ulstram was able to bind Eryael into a deep sleep. It
appears that the pale priest has been neutralized, at least
for a time. At the risk of losing our journalistic
objectivity, we hope that it is a good long while indeed.

Dateline: Day 21st of Eoantos, 5104: Wehnimer's Landing
On the 13th of Eoantos, Moonshine Manor held their third
Gambling Night at a Wayside Inn table! The game was called
"The Crooked Edge" and hosted by Lord Fremie Dractila. The
dice rolled for nearly three hours and some people walked away
with millions in profit! Regretting you stayed away? Don't
miss Moonshine Manor's fourth Gambling Night shortly after the
new year! We hope to see you all there!

Submissions should be limited to 6 body paragraphs of no more
than 100 words each. Each submission should start with a
title, be followed with a dateline, and should end with the
author's signature. Please check your submission for proper
spelling and grammar before sending it.
All submissions should involve factual events. We will accept
no silly nursery stories, histories or educational articles
about the weather. If you would like to submit an article
along those lines, please do so to our sister publication, the
Elanthian Times. All submissions should be received by Leyan
in order to be published by Feastday.
CLASSIFIEDS: Classifieds are free and a good way to advertise
your auctions and events or to find something whether it be
love, a lost dog or a servant.
