It is said that there are those who are born with talent and destined to become more then what’s expected! For those few, life brings a sense of Irony… No one expected Cosannie to even survive her birth, Leyan, the 24th day of Imaerasta, in the year 5069. The daughter of a talented and well regarded Sorcerer of the City of Elstreh, Kelvir Soring and his equitable match from Ta’Vaalor, a Wizardress of Noble blood, Catalina Naephaeus. It was not uncommon for rich caravans to hire guardians of sword and robe to escort it safely from one trade point to another. Both Catalina and Kevlir were escorting Caravans from their respective cities to a trading outpost near Kragsfell. The point was attacked by raiders and both mages stood out in their use of power and skill. Their attraction was instant.

Shortly after the birth of Cosannie on their way back from Ta’Vaalor to Elstreh, the caravan was ambushed and nearly everyone was killed. Only a hand full of servants survived one of which was the Nanny of baby Cosannie. It was rumored that the mighty pair had jealous and envious eyes on both sides of the Elven and human empire. The pair was doomed from the beginning. Ta’Vaalor with a well founded history of intolerance towards half breeds, especially ones of noble blood and such a magical talent. It was seen as a betrayal. The only way to “fix” such a shameful embarrassment is to cleanse it. No mercy was given, but out of the ashes the baby survived. A fact that remains a thorn in the side of some in both Empires…

The Nanny hid in caves for some time with the survivors to dodge the assassins until they were finally able to make it back to Human lands. The Nanny was shortly hunted and killed but not before getting baby Cosannie to an orphanage and informing her good friend, Leyanna Nadirious a Giantwoman, of the child and what had happened. The child was moved from one family to another, never being fully accepted because of her Half-Elven breed and her uncanny ability with magic. Years of abuse and lack of her Mother’s warm arms, Cosannie left her caretakers and at the tender age of 18 ventured off to seek her parents and any scroll of knowledge that she could find.

Her innate magical ability was noticed by Leyanna and her Daughter Breena. Being devout followers of Kai and his daughter Leya and of their distinct knowledge of what took place so many years before, they watched over Cosannie from a distance. With such enemies, their warrior instinct motivated them to better aid the young lady from a distance where those who pursued her would expose themselves first. It worked marvelously through the years, unbeknownst to Cosannie who suffered greatly in her travels and found herself on Niiman, the 1st day of Jastatos, in 5098 standing at the Silverwood Manor Courtyard in Wehnimer’s Landing. She wondered around town for a while, until finding work with the Moot Hall Clerk. She was able to purchase better food, clothing, and weapons and firmly establish herself for the first time in her journey.

For brief time, a lady cleric came into Cosannie’s life and took her under her wing and showed her the works of the town. Shortly thereafter the lady cleric became aware of her young wards innate abilities and the relentlessness of her pursuers. Instead of fighting for the young one, sadly she abandoned her at a pivotal point. Cosannie spent a period of time alone, hunting with various travelers and experiencing minor adventures, while learning and growing with her magical prowess.

Members from both distinct Landing Societies approached Cosannie for membership and she choose to Honor Voln and take up its challenges. She felt her abilities and heart were better served aiding those who were alone and suffering. The Undead represented the very pain and loneliness she had experienced since birth. Scholarly pursuits took her to joining Silvergate. Shortly thereafter she moved on to Moonstone Abby. After becoming a Coven sister.

Cosannie befriended various would be mentors, friends, and teachers over the years while alone, by chance she caught the attention of a certain Cleric and his companion, Primum and Alariya Defendere. Primum took the young Sorceress under his wing and began to aid in her development. He even introduced her to one friend and then another, and later on she met Lord Naugal. Finally having a home for once, Cosannie became empowered and quickly reached Master status in Voln. She began aiding others in the name of Leya, who she identified with due to her own struggles and recent lost love. The loss nearly got the best of her, but the young Half-Elven who would rise from the ashes of her parents’ murder rose again. Additionally, she would survive the test of love lost, abandonment, and lonesome travels through the lands.

She grew yet stronger and more talented and finally met and married Falicor Whemigor, who won her heart and showed her that her passion for life and fighting the good fight doesn’t have to be a lonely one. Although the relationship has struggled, Lady Cosannie remained resolute in her pursuit of lore and development.

Together Lord Primum, Leader, and Lord Naugal, co-leader planned and put together the Black Wolf clan and named Lady Cosannie Treasurer of the Clan, though after a huge falling out, Naugal left the clan. Lady Cosannie enjoyed her position and although respected her adopted father their differences lead her to leave the clan and venture out on her own once again back to her roots, studying magic and the Elven Nations.

She left the Moonstone Abby once it moved to the Nations and after a time joined the House of Twilight Hall. There, she increased her knowledge of Magic and researched into her own family history and those who suffered similar experience due to there being Half-Elven. She came in contact with Jazzemin Lunashade, a Savant of a noble House in New Ta’Faendryl and learned of the sad tale of a young Half-Elven Ranger, whose father was brutally murdered and who had fought bravely next to Lady Cosannie’s own in Elstreh. The duo were a force to be reckoned with, Lady Cosannie’s father unequaled in magic and his companion was regarded similarly in combat wielding a mystical Katana. She learned how this young Ranger has been pursued as she had been and yet remained resolute in his passion for good recognizing Lord Kai and Lady Leya. She made a note to at some point reach out to this young promising Ranger and watch over him as those who pursue him would be relentless.

While returning to the very spot where the ambushed had occurred, the moment that had set her life in motion, Lady Cosannie was attacked. To her aid appeared a female warrior of the Giantman race who introduced herself as a fellow follower of Kai and friend to Cosannie’s family. Breena explained what had taken place so many years ago and why her journey has been as eventful as it had. Her blood and abilities have caused quite a stir, but her passion has been inspiring. She could have turned to darker paths, yet she chooses Voln and Leya as her faithful sources of life. Breena pledge her sword to aid the honorable Sorceress in her endeavors.

Shortly thereafter, she came across Lord Naugal Taglys path once more. Their friendship and respect of each other was still in tact, even after the fall out of the Black Wolves. Lord Naugal saw the talent and innate abilities of the Sorceress as well as her ability to recognize talent and true promise in others. He informed her of the Ord An Dragan and asked her to become the Orders Reeve. In all the years and all the interactions, no one had shown Lady Cosannie such faith in her leadership and respect of her judgment. Recognizing the long history of the Order and what they stand for, Great Lady Cosannie whole-heartedly accepted. She finally felt at home with others who live as she has and believe in each other as strongly as those of the order do. She also knew that should her past approach her again, they would have to contend with a Sorceress who has come into her own and contend with those of who new family.

Although Cosannie had felt at home, all good things must come to an end, as Cosannie grew tired of the injustice, of the way she was treated. She held her head upright, and gave her resignation, but it was not accepted well. For you see Naugal didn’t like loosing her, his slave, whom he would pile on tons of work for her to achieve, went about sending members out after her to threaten and accuse her. Lies and stories have been told about this event of her life, but she stands upright, head head high, and ignores it all, and strives to do the honorable thing, and takes life, one beating at a time.

Cosannie soon afterwards met up with her adopted father, Lord Primum, and after lots of fussing and disagreements, found their way back, and he welcomed her back home with open arms, and brought her back into the Black Wolves Clan, that he leads.

As she continued to adventure around the landing, Great Lady Cosannie immediately pursued her devout interest with the House of the Rising Phoenix, after leaving Twilight Hall. The common goals between Voln and the House of the Rising Phoenix proved dear and unwavering in her heart. Her natural affinities with this symbol lead the venerable Lord Shirkon’s bestowing the honor of deeming Great Lady Cosannie Whemigor the House Secretary. No House better suited, no symbol more deeply felt.

As Cosannie travels lead her down the path of life, she lost yet another love, for she and Falicor were divorced, and she moved from Secretary of Phoenix, up to Co-chairman of the house. She later met and married Lord Tebon, and took on Lady Paladin of Onoir. The young Half-Elven child that no one wanted and many pursued to destroy rose above the dark shroud and became an uncanny talent, a true Blue Diamond in the rough.
