I grew up rather spoiled, admittedly so. My mother being a sorceress and my father being a Knight. My early years were quite carefree. I always thought I would be following in my mother’s footsteps. I’ve always enjoyed watching her spell-craft work. She has always been a very Honorable person, very kind and patient. As I got into my teen years, when I was really deciding what I wanted to do, I learned that I have a bit too much of my father in me, but in a good way. Just as mother, he is very Honorable and kind, but not quite as patient as mother, though I think that’s just the giantkin blood in him.
They would come home in the evenings, battered and beaten and bruised (more so father than mother) and I would always be right there to help clean their wounds, bandage them up, apply ointments and other apothecarist sundries as needed to help them recover from their battles. I suppose it just came to me naturally, then, that I should be a healer. Mother helped me connect with some kind people in Wehnimer’s Landing that helped show me the right path to follow so that I could help others.
Early on, I worked my healing weaves on my parents, but as I got a little better, I would venture into town, and help out folks there as well. I wasn’t very skilled at that time, but I was learning, and most people are very patient with healers. But I still had my father’s fire in me, and I wanted to go with him and mother out on their adventures. Between the two of them, they helped show me how to defend myself, helped me get better at my craft, and let me use my abilities and my skills so that I could grow into the person I am today. Now, I venture out regularly with mother and father and some friends and family members, all over Elanith, sharing my gift and my passion for helping others.
