Gormin Horibu

Sir Gormin
[Gormin's Humble Dwelling]
You walk into a small, dimly lit dwelling with sable marble walls. On one side of the dwelling is a normal looking desk except for the fact that it is currently covered with blueprints, histories, and other miscellaneous writings. Above the desk is a chalkboard with some faint drawings of what appear to be a keep of some sort. A figure stands up from out of his seat in front of the desk and walks over to you. The figure says, "Greetings friend, please sit down somewhere if you can."

The figure continues, "My name is Gormin Horibu, a half-elf priest of Kai, born in Tamzyrr. I have no record of who my father was, for he left my mom before I was ever born. But for my mom, her name is Sorinda Horibu, an elf. Her and my brother are the only relatives that I know of. My brother is Gharr, an Elven warrior. He is kinda stubborn at times, but he is a nice guy if you get to know him."
Gormin says, "When I was young I would always go around playing with my brother, of course he always beat me at anything we did since he was older than I. But we had fun. When I was old enough to leave our little area that we lived I managed to get to River's Rest. Not that many people around there, but I think everyone there likes it that way. While I was there I learned a lot from the folks that resided around those parts. I learned of this big place called Wehnimer's Landing. I got an impression that a lot of the folks there didn't like the business of the Landings."

Gormin continues, "When I went back home I told my mom and brother all about what I heard about the Landings. My mom didn't really like the idea of a big city inhabited by a lot of giantmen, dwarves and humans. But my brother was extremely interested in everything I had to say. About two years later something tragic happened." You make out a few faint tears slipping out from Gormin's eyes.
Gormin weeps gently and says, "My mom got stricken with some kind of disease that was incurable. I tried all the knowledge I had about every herb, potion and other remedies but none worked. I cried for weeks sitting and watching my mother fade away from existence. At the last hours she told me to leave this place and try to make something of myself in the world. A few days latter she died. My brother and I buried her and then just sat around our house wondering what to do now."

Gormin continues, "It was then that I remembered my trip to River's Rest and remember hearing of the large city by the name of Wehnimer's Landing. I decided that I would go there and see what all the fuss is about. So my brother and I packed up some clothes and other belongings and set foot to the Landings. Upon arrival we where both amazed at how many people we saw. All so very different, you could practically get anything you wanted from the Landings.

Gormin leans to the right.

Gormin says, "Well, that’s it about myself. Currently I am a devout priest serving my Lord Kai. I also have pledged, along with many others, to relieve the undead of their terrible curse. I have resurrected many a life since I was able to. As of now I do not have any love interest in my life, but I am looking for the right woman."

Gormin exclaims, "Alas it is time for me to leave and go back to my desk for I have many things that need work. May you walk in Kai's light."
