As a small child my father and grandfather would teach us the Elanthian way. My bother Andeller and I would go out hunting and bring back what we could.We spent many years learning where, what and how to hunt, what to hunt the many things around Wehnimer's Landing. When we got all beat up, we could always count on our sister the empath, Gruener, to patch us up so we didn't get into trouble with the adults. Gruener and Tamlynn (our other sister) would spend time learning from Grama what to do when a cleric or empath was needed. We woukd spend time learning about the elders of the house, like Thrudh, Morgiest, Aonghus, Aurla and Matti. It was nice to grow up on the shadow of so many illustrious people.
From the very beginning, I was taught how to go to the various pawn shops and find the best equipment available. Most of the time some other adventurer would find it and sell it to the pawnshop not knowing how valuable it could be. I would be given a pile of silvers and it was my job to go find valuables and return with them, or let the elders know what and where they were. Every once n a while i would head out and come back with more silvers than I left with. It's amazing how often people sold things to the pawnshop that should have been sold to the gemshop. Things like ornate plates, and pitchers and even jewelry would be sold to the pawnshop. I would buy them and sell them to the gemshop and make extra silvers. I found so many things that I could not sell so I just out them in my locker.
I heard stories of old Wehnimer's Landing auctions that would generate thousands of silvers for those putting their stuff up for auction. I figured that I would start saving thinga for one of those auctions. But those days are long past. Much better stuff has been introduced making my things look like trinkets.
I took up Forging, learning from my gramps and other elders in the house, eventually achieving master status is most of the weapon types. One day I was at the forge and I saw a few of gramp's old friends rnning in and out of their workshops. I grabbed one of them and asked them if they knew my gramps. Every once in a while they would say “No” but maybe on of their family had known him.
One day I decided it was time to follow my gramps to the holding on the hill where the Order of the Silver Gryphon held their meetings. Looking around, i noticed that a lot of the names in their history were people of the house Onoir. I decided then that I should also be a Gryphon like gramps. While I wandering about holding when Lady Evia saw me and recognized me. She told me to return in a few days and meet the rest of the Gryphons. I was truly excited that I would be invited to see them, all of those that i had only heard mention of in passing conversation with gramps. My first meeting I had the great pleasure to be greeted by Sir Goldstr (of Onoir), Sir Cryheart and Evia. Sir Geijon saw me and immediately took me as his squire. Geijon and gramps grew up together in old Elanthia along with Cryheart.

He has a tattooed symbol of Kai on his neck, a rising phoenix tattoo on his ear, and a soaring griffin tattoo on his neck.
