Lady Shrelae's
I was born in Icemule. I believe I was left there by m'family. I do
not know who my parents were, and m'early days were quite lonely in the town.
I overheard some town folk speaking of a large town down the trails to the
south, and having been repeatedly attacked by ravaneous squirrels, I decided
to journey to a place called the Landing. I joined a group of travelers with
what we believed to be a trustworthy guide....we followed him, with hopes of
better places in our minds. What he did was bring us all to the ice caves
near the glacier and left us there to die. We were all very young and did
not know what to do, and there we all decayed. When my spirit awoke, it was
by the hand of Lorminstra in a very warm place where I felt safe, and here
m'life did start anew. Here I was taught the art of healing, and realized
how lucky I was to have such a gift. To be able to help others in times of
pain, panic, and perhaps even save their lives was such an amazing feeling. I
had found my lifes calling. I vowed to do everything in my power to help
those in need. While my hunting abilities were modest at best, I found that
my presence in hunting groups was advantageous to the group. And hunting
and healing in the field became my way. This is also when I met Azerius, who
taught me the finer skills of hunting, (though I never did get those skills
honed ... I bind m'self more often than the critters, and routinely attack
them with tarts). He was like a the big brother I never had, and so we
adopted each other as brother and sister, and his entire family became mine.
I also learned of voln at this time. I joined the path of the followers of
voln, and dedicated m'life to freeing the souls of the tormented beasts.
This was a very long journey, with many rewards along the way. Becoming a
Voln master was one of the most incredible experiences in my life.
My days have been spent wandering through Elanthia. I have spent time
in many areas, but my roots have never been firmly set. I enjoy meeting
people, but do tend to be on the quiet side. I spend my time mostly healing
these days, and helping anyone who needs assistance, be it in voln, in
hunting, or in learning. I myself continue to learn the ways of the diverse
populace. I enjoy a good hug, and a good cookie, but most of all a good
laugh. I look forward to a new adventure every day, and always have a smile,
a hug, or healing hand to offer to anyone in need.
