Trandle

Lord Trandle
Trandle was born outside Wehinmer's landing to parents of modest means. Trandle's father, a warrior by trade, was a minor noble. His mother had been raised in a mining community by merchant parents. Trandle's father did his best to provide for his family. He taught his son to always do the right thing never and take advantage of those less fortunate. His mother's only rule for Trandle was to always be polite. They lead a quiet and happy life together for ten years. Then, rumors of unrest in the city began to filter by their household. Trandle's father felt it was his duty to aid the good people of Wehnimer's in any way he could. He left with the intention of offering his services to the city guard for a time. It was the last Trandle and his mother ever heard of his father. When six months had passed with no word from her husband, Trandle's mother sent an inquiry to the city guard. She was informed that Trandle's father had never arrived. He has not been heard from since.

Life became very hard for Trandle and his mother. She had few skills that would allow her to make a living, and Trandle was too young to be of much assistance. After five years of barely scratching out an existence, Trandle's mother finally accepted that her beloved husband was not going to return. She agreed to a marriage proposal from a local merchant. This was not out of love for the merchant, but out of convenience as a means of supporting her son. The merchant did, however, expect an heir.
Trandle's mother provided the merchant with a son, Brewdle. This did not provide her with the sense of fulfillment that Trandle's birth had. Thus raising Brewdle with the same love and kindness that had been showered on Trandle was too hard for her. She treated Brewdle with respect, but in her eyes, he was 'the merchants son'.

Trandle always loved to hear stories of his father and his mother loved to tell them. She would tell of his noble spirit and kind acts. She would tell of brave deeds and generosity to those in need. Trandle wanted nothing more than to follow in his father's footsteps. Brewdle, on the other hand, hated hearing these stories. He was convinced that Trandle's father had run out on his mother. Driven off by excessive hen-pecking and coddling. He believed that if it weren't for Trandle's noble father, he would
have been the object of love and attention from his mother.

When Trandle became of an age to leave home, he set off toward Wehnimer's landing to carry on his father's work. He has dedicated himself to honor and aiding those less fortunate than he. Since meeting Lord Drandar, he has found another cause to believe in as well; the release of undead spirits in the order of Voln.
