Lady Vickie

Greetings noble and honorable friends. I am Vickie Graffney, dark elf sorceress of Wehnimer landing.Being born of a long line of sorceress is one of the reasons that I chose my profession. I was born in Ice Mule trace where I lost both my parents to the horrid Vvrael. I wondered around Ice Mule for a couple of years trying to decide what I should do with my life.One day while delivering messages I walked into the in where I found an old gentleman at a table whom seemed to have such a kind face. So I sat down thinking that he might be a bit lonely and he began to talk to me. He told me a lil bit about life and how hard it was for him when he was vera young. I in turn told him how my parents had died and that I was trying to figure out what I needed to do with my life. At that point he began to give me instruction on how I should act like a lady in the lands. I was very intrigued with what he had to tell me and listened vera closely. After he was finished he started to ask me some questions on what he had just told me. Why he did that I do not know unless he wanted to know if I was paying attention to what he was trying to teach me or not. I very patiently answered his questions then he told me to go out into the lands to find my destiny.As I stood up he did inform me that it could be very cruel out there and to be vera cautious.

After I left the old kindly gentleman I made up my mind that I would try and be the best I could not just for myself but for my parents and that kind old gentleman. I found my way to the temple and roamed through each room. In one of the rooms I saw a statue of a very beautiful lady named Lorminstra. After reading about her I decided that I would try and follow as close to her way of life as possible. She being the Goddess of rebirth, I had felt that I had in my short life been reborn for I knew that I had a purpose.

One day standing in Town Centrala Lord named Shirkon appeared. He studied me vera carefully and told me that I looked very much like his now departed wife Lady Vickylynn. I told him who I was and he informed me that I had an Aunt that was a great Lady in the lands. Oh, I was getting vera excited for just to have some family pleased me vera much. I asked him where could I find this Aunt of mine and he told me that she hunted on an island call Teras but did come to Wehminer Landing often. So, I begged him to take me there so I could meet her. With a warm smile he said he would and that her name was Lady Aurla.Some very kind people began to cast spell on me so that I would besafe to make the trip to Wehminer. I was jumping around with glee until they told me that the trip was very long and dangerous. That there were many horrid and scary creatures on the way that would try and kill me. I was a lil scared but felt that my Goddess Lorminstra would protect me and that she did.

After reaching the landing safely Lord Shirkon could not find my Aunt Aurla anywhere and told me that she must still be on the island. So while waiting for her he kindly showed me around the landing. He took me hunting and helped me to get moved into Wehminer. One day when I was 3 he told me about a great order called Voln and what it's purpose was. I was vera excited when he told me that my Goddess was a member of this order. So I quickly told him that I too wanted to be a member of that order. He invited me to join and took me there but found I had to jump into a spring before they would even let me into the gate. Oh, I looked down at myself and at that time noticed how smudged of dirt I really was. Vera softly I told Lord Shirkon, sorry I guess they do need people to be clean to enter this great place. He laughed a loud and pleasant laugh saying to me not that my outer body needed clean but really needed to be cleansed of the worldly pollution, greed, lust and only thoughts of one's self. Smiling shyly I jumped into that spring and it did have a very soothing effect on my mind. Will have to admit warm soothing water did cleans me right down to my soul. Then I was able to gain access to Voln and meet the Grandmaster where I gave my pledge to Voln and will be a proud member of for the rest of my life.

Lord Shirkon was also a member of a house called the Rising Phoenix which is a house dedicated to the releasing of the undead just like Voln. So when I was 5 I also joined this honorable house. Then I met my Aunt Aurla. and found that she really is the great lady that has been told to me. She took some armor for me and had them enchanted to protect me from the creatures that I hunt. I was so excited to meet her and she introduced me to some of her friends who were really wonderful. All that evening they all took me hunting and I had one of the greatest times since I was born. Aunt Aurla's friends were so kind and so much fun. Later that night after I left them I went to pray to Lady Lorminstra to aid me into being as kind and honorable as my Aunt Aurla and her friends.

I have a long life ahead of me and sure it is going to be vera exciting even during the bad times. Lord Shirkon is a vera handsome Lord and I do feel a strong warmth for him. I do know what ever Lady Lorminstra or the other Gods of Liabos have planed for me I will except and try to please them with honor and pride
